Brandon Moreno Returns to Win Column with Split Decision Over Joseph Morales

Brandon Moreno secured a hard-fought victory at Noche UFC on Saturday, earning a split decision win over Joseph Morales in the co-main event. The win serves as a crucial rebound for the former flyweight standout, who entered the contest riding a two-fight losing streak.

Throughout the bout, Moreno demonstrated the high-level striking and grappling versatility that has kept him a fixture in the division's upper echelon. Despite his dominance in key exchanges, the official scorecards proved contentious; Moreno expressed confusion regarding the reasoning behind the single judge who scored the contest in favor of Morales.

Nevertheless, the result marks a significant return to form for Moreno. After facing questions about his standing in the weight class following his recent skid, the victory reinforces his position as an elite flyweight contender. For fantasy managers, Moreno's performance serves as a reminder of his reliability as a high-volume striker and active grappler, making him a consistent scoring threat in the flyweight division for future events.
