MMAreign manages 5 data types including tournaments. Helps you organize, track, and share your work in 1 place for teams and solo users.

MMA Reign is a comprehensive MMA fantasy platform where you can test your fight knowledge against other fans. The platform offers two main game modes — Predictions (picks) and Fighter Draft — along with multiple tournament formats. Whether you're a casual fan or a hardcore analyst, MMA Reign gives you a competitive way to engage with every UFC event throughout the year.

How do predictions (picks) work?

Before each UFC event, you pick a winner and a method of victory (KO/TKO, Submission, or Decision) for every fight on the card. You earn +10 points for correctly predicting the winner, plus +5 for a correct KO/TKO or Submission method or +3 for a correct Decision method. An incorrect winner starts at -5 points. Picks lock 10 minutes before the first fight, so submit your predictions before the lock time. Your cumulative points determine your ranking within the current quarterly Reign.

What is the Fighter Draft and how does it work?

The Fighter Draft is a salary-cap fantasy mode where you build a team of fighters for a specific UFC event. Each fighter has a price based on their odds and profile, and you must stay within the budget to assemble your roster. Once fights are completed, your drafted fighters earn points based on their real in-cage performance — including knockdowns scored, significant strikes landed, takedowns completed, submission attempts, and total control time. You also select a Captain whose points are multiplied, adding a layer of strategy. Fighters on the same matchup cannot both be drafted, so you have to commit to one side of each fight.

What types of tournaments are available?

MMA Reign offers official quarterly Reigns and Friendly tournaments. Reign I–IV each cover a three-month window and have separate Picks and Draft standings. Friendly tournaments let you create private competitions with friends using an invite code, perfect for local bragging rights or office pools. RUSH remains a separate fast-paced game mode.

How is the scoring system structured?

For Predictions: you receive +10 points for a correct winner pick, plus +5 for a correct KO/TKO or Submission method or +3 for a correct Decision method. An incorrect winner starts at -5 points. For Draft: fighters earn +10 for a win plus points from significant strikes, knockdowns, takedowns, submission attempts, control time, and finish bonuses. Your Captain earns 2× points, making Captain selection a crucial strategic decision.

When do picks lock and can I change them?

Picks lock 10 minutes before the first fight. Until the lock time, you can change your predictions as many times as you want. Once locked, no further changes are possible. We recommend finalizing your picks early to avoid last-minute issues. You'll see the event lock state in the app before the card begins.

Can I follow specific fighters?

Yes! You can follow any fighter on the platform by visiting their profile page and clicking the follow button. When a fighter you follow gets a bout announced or has an upcoming fight, you'll receive a notification so you never miss an opportunity to make your pick or draft them onto your team. It's a great way to stay on top of your favorite fighters' activity throughout the year.

What does MMAReign Premium cost?

MMAReign Premium costs $5 USD per month with secure recurring billing through Stripe. It renews monthly until canceled; after cancellation, access continues through the current paid billing period. The core game remains free: Draft, Picks, official tournaments, events, fighter profiles, and core MMA stats are available without Premium. Premium adds deeper analytics, full Weekly Predictions, Fantasy Points Analytics, and higher or unlimited community limits.

How does the leaderboard work?

The leaderboard tracks your cumulative performance across all events in the current quarterly Reign. Each Picks or Draft leaderboard shows your rank, total points, relevant performance details, and how you compare to other competitors. You can also view event-specific leaderboards to see who performed best on an individual fight card.

What happens if a fight is cancelled or ends in a No Contest?

If a fight is cancelled before it takes place, any predictions made for that fight are voided and no points are awarded or deducted. In the case of a No Contest, the fight is treated similarly — no winner is declared, so no prediction points are given. For the Draft, if one of your drafted fighters' bouts is cancelled, they simply score zero points but you are not penalized beyond that.

Can I use MMA Reign for fighter statistics and research?

Absolutely. MMA Reign doubles as a comprehensive MMA stats hub. Every fighter on the platform has a detailed profile page with their full professional record, win/loss breakdown by method (KO, submission, decision), physical attributes (height, weight, reach, stance), and advanced per-fight averages — including significant strikes landed per minute, strike accuracy, takedown accuracy, average knockdowns, control time, and submission attempts. You can use the Fighters page to browse, search, and filter the entire roster by weight class, record, and more. It's a powerful tool whether you're preparing your picks, researching draft value, or simply diving deep into MMA data.

What advanced stats are available for each fighter?

Each fighter profile shows both career totals and per-fight averages calculated from real fight data. Key stats include: significant strikes per minute, overall strike accuracy percentage, takedown accuracy, average knockdowns per fight, average total and power strikes, average takedowns landed, average submission attempts, and average control time in seconds. These metrics help you evaluate how active, dominant, and dangerous a fighter truly is — essential for making informed draft picks and predictions.

How do I view fight-by-fight statistics?

On each fighter's profile page, you'll find their complete fight history with detailed round-by-round statistics where available. This includes strikes landed to head, body, and legs, power strike breakdowns, takedown attempts vs. landed, submission attempts, knockdowns, and control time for each bout. This granular data lets you spot trends — for example, whether a fighter has improved their wrestling recently or tends to fade in later rounds.

Can I compare fighters head-to-head?

Yes! When viewing a specific fight matchup on the event page, you can see a side-by-side statistical comparison of both fighters. This includes their records, finishing rates, striking output, takedown numbers, and other key metrics laid out in an easy-to-read format. It's the perfect way to analyze a matchup before locking in your prediction or draft pick.

How often is the data updated?

Fighter records and event data are synced regularly from official sources. Fight results and statistics are updated shortly after each event concludes, so you'll see updated records, leaderboard standings, and draft points within hours of the final bell. Event cards and fight announcements are added as soon as they are officially confirmed by the UFC.

How do Friendly tournaments work?

Friendly tournaments are private competitions you can create and share with friends. When you create a Friendly tournament, you get a unique invite code that you share with the people you want to compete against. Anyone with the code can join. Friendly tournaments track picks points just like the official tournaments, giving you a private leaderboard to settle debates within your group. They're perfect for office pools, friend groups, or any time you want a more personal competition.

What is the Captain bonus in Fighter Draft?

When building your draft roster, you designate one fighter as your Captain. Your Captain earns 2× their final Draft score. This means choosing the right Captain can be the difference between winning and losing your draft — pick a fighter you're confident will put on a dominant, stat-heavy performance.

Is MMA Reign free to use?

Yes. The core MMAReign experience is free, including Draft, Picks, official tournaments, event cards, fighter profiles, core statistics, forum access, and official chat. Premium is optional and adds deeper analytics, full Weekly Predictions, Fantasy Points Analytics, and expanded community limits.

How do I get notifications about upcoming events?

MMA Reign sends notifications to keep you informed about important updates — including upcoming events, fight announcements for fighters you follow, and reminders to submit your picks before they lock. Make sure to follow your favorite fighters so you never miss a bout. You can manage your notification preferences in your Settings page.
