Brendan Allen Previews Main Event Clash Against Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC Vegas 122

Middleweight contender Brendan Allen is set to headline this weekend's UFC Vegas 122 event, where he will face surging prospect Christian Leroy Duncan. The bout, scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, represents another opportunity for Allen to defend his standing against rising competition in the division.

Heading into the main event, Allen expressed a clear perspective on the matchup, emphasizing his intent to test the resolve of the undefeated-streak challenger. Referring to his opponent's style and momentum, Allen stated that Duncan 'better catch me early' during their exchange. He noted that the fight will serve as a definitive assessment of Duncan's capabilities at this level of the division, adding, 'We’re going to see what he’s made of.'

Allen has frequently been positioned as a gatekeeper for prospects looking to climb the middleweight rankings, and this weekend's contest continues that trend. The main event serves as a pivotal moment for both athletes, with Duncan seeking to break into the upper echelon of the rankings and Allen looking to maintain his position as a divisional stalwart.
