By MMAReign News Desk·Sep 22, 2026 • 3:03 AM

The California State Athletic Commission issued 24 medical suspensions to fighters following UFC 331, including five potential six-month sit-outs for injuries sustained during the event.

Following the conclusion of UFC 331, held on September 19, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has released the list of medical suspensions for the event participants. In total, 24 fighters were issued medical directives following the results of the card.

Among the most significant rulings, five fighters received potential six-month suspensions depending on medical clearance. This list includes Alonzo Menifield, who sustained a documented thumb injury during his bout. The commission's mandatory rest periods are a standard procedure designed to ensure fighter safety following physically demanding contests.

These suspensions reflect the intensity of the event, which saw several competitive matchups. While some fighters may be cleared sooner pending physician evaluation, the designated six-month windows highlight the severity of the injuries sustained inside the cage. The full list of suspensions covers the entirety of the fight card, impacting the immediate availability of the participating roster.
