UFC fighter Damian Pinas has publicly addressed his current standing within the promotion, noting that he feels a distinct shift in how he is perceived by both fans and prospective opponents. After a series of notable performances, Pinas suggested that his rapid rise through the ranks has forced critics to reconsider their initial assessments of his capabilities.

Speaking on his recent trajectory, Pinas remarked that he believes he was previously being counted out by the wider MMA community. This sentiment highlights the contrast between his current status as a recognized finisher and his earlier experiences in the organization, where he struggled to gain equivalent traction in the public eye.
