Dana White Claims UFC Valuation Now Rivals Major North American Sports Leagues

By MMAReign News Desk·Oct 14, 2026 • 5:05 PM

Dana White claims the UFC's financial valuation now rivals the NBA and NFL following massive transactions in the professional sports ownership market.

UFC CEO Dana White has asserted that the promotion's valuation has surged to a level that now rivals established major professional sports leagues like the NBA and the NFL. White’s comments followed recent high-profile activity in the sports ownership market, specifically regarding the sale of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise.

The Lakers recently underwent multiple ownership changes in a short span, with the franchise moving from the Buss family to Los Angeles Dodgers owner Mark Walter for a reported $10 billion, before changing hands again shortly thereafter. Referencing the massive financial figures associated with such NBA team transactions, White suggested that the UFC has reached a comparable standing in terms of total business valuation.

While White has frequently championed the rapid commercial growth of the UFC since its acquisition by Endeavor, these latest remarks highlight his belief in the promotion's position as a premier global sports property. Despite the lack of an official public valuation for the UFC distinct from its parent company, TKO Group Holdings, White maintains that the organization's trajectory puts it on par with the most lucrative brands in professional sports.
