Dana White Open to Potential Paddy Pimblett vs. Ilia Topuria TUF Season

UFC CEO Dana White has responded to recent calls for a season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) featuring rivals Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria as opposing coaches. The concept, which was suggested by Pimblett last week, has drawn interest from the UFC leadership.

During a recent media appearance, White addressed the proposition directly, stating that he is fond of the idea. While he acknowledged the potential appeal of such a matchup for the promotional television series, he stopped short of confirming that the production will move forward. White emphasized that there are significant logistical and scheduling variables at play that could influence whether the project becomes a reality.

"I love the idea," White remarked regarding the prospect of a Pimblett-Topuria season. However, he noted that there are a "lot of moving parts" involved in coordinating a season of the long-running reality show, suggesting that while the concept is currently being considered, it remains in the exploratory phase.

Both Pimblett and Topuria have established themselves as prominent figures within their respective weight classes, and a season of coaching duties would likely draw significant attention from fans and the media. For now, the organization has yet to finalize any plans for such a pairing, leaving the possibility as a theoretical, albeit intriguing, future development for the UFC broadcast schedule.
