DWCS Results: Zevan Hunt Faces Mayton Perea in Welterweight Main Event

Dana White's Contender Series returned to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Tuesday night for its latest installment. The evening featured a headline welterweight matchup between undefeated prospect Zevan Hunt and Mayton Perea.

Hunt entered the contest with an unblemished professional record of 7-0. The welterweight prospect arrived at the event riding a streak of three consecutive finishes, looking to secure a UFC contract in front of promotion leadership. His opponent, Mayton Perea, aimed to derail the momentum of the undefeated prospect in the evening’s marquee bout.

The event, held on September 15, 2026, serves as a critical proving ground for emerging talent looking to transition into the UFC roster. With Hunt’s track record for high-finish-rate victories, the matchup was highlighted as a key focal point for talent scouts evaluating the welterweight division's next generation.

Full results from the event, including the outcome of the Hunt vs. Perea main event, are being compiled from the Apex as the card concludes.
