Extended Police Footage Released Regarding Dustin Poirier Arrest

Nearly three months following his arrest for public drunkenness at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, extended police body-camera footage involving UFC lightweight standout Dustin Poirier has been made public. The 28-minute video provides a detailed account of the interaction between Poirier and authorities after he was initially placed in handcuffs.

The footage follows reports from earlier this summer involving an altercation at the airport, where Poirier was documented interacting with airline staff. The newly surfaced video captures the duration of the encounter, offering additional context to the incident that occurred in June.

While the situation involves a high-profile athlete, it remains a legal matter outside of the professional MMA competition space. At this time, there has been no indication from the UFC regarding potential disciplinary action or how the incident might affect Poirier’s standing within the lightweight division. The former interim champion has remained a mainstay of the 155-pound rankings for years, and he has not yet issued a formal public statement addressing the release of this expanded footage.
