Francis Ngannou Addresses Ongoing Conflict With Dana White

By MMAReign News Desk·Sep 11, 2026 • 8:02 PM

Francis Ngannou has responded to recent comments from Dana White regarding his 2023 departure from the UFC, suggesting the promotion's CEO should accept the situation and move on.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has publicly responded to recent criticisms leveled against him by UFC CEO Dana White. The two have been engaged in an intermittent public feud stemming from Ngannou's departure from the UFC in 2023. Ngannou exited the promotion after fighting out his contract, as both parties were unable to reach an agreement on a new deal. Addressing the latest remarks from the UFC executive, Ngannou suggested that White needs to move on from the situation, stating, 'You have to take that loss.' The exchange is the latest development in a long-standing tension between the promotion and their former heavyweight kingpin, who has since transitioned to other professional opportunities outside of the UFC ecosystem. While White has maintained a firm stance regarding the likelihood of any future business dealings with Ngannou, the former champion’s comments indicate he remains unbothered by the criticism directed his way.
