Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo defeated Wanna Walton via split decision in his Misfits Boxing debut on Saturday in Miami.

Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo successfully transitioned to the boxing ring on Saturday, securing a split decision victory over Wanna Walton. The bout served as the headliner for the latest Misfits Boxing event, held at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. Cejudo, widely known as "Triple C" during his tenure in the UFC, entered the ring for his debut under the influencer-focused banner following a change in opponents. The contest was originally slated to feature Cejudo against top influencer boxer Deen the Great. However, after Deen the Great withdrew from the matchup, professional boxer Wanna Walton stepped in to face the Olympic gold medalist. The victory marks a unique detour for the decorated mixed martial artist, as he tested his striking skills in a professional boxing environment against the late-replacement challenger. Cejudo's performance was sufficient to edge out a victory on the judges' scorecards in what was his first official foray into the sport of boxing.
