Jacobe Smith Tapped to Face Octagon Newcomer Bruce Whitehead at UFC 332

Welterweight prospect Jacobe Smith has been added to the UFC 332 fight card. According to reports, Smith will step into the Octagon on short notice to face promotional newcomer Bruce Whitehead. The bout is scheduled to take place on October 3, 2026, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Smith, a highly-touted prospect, enters the contest on just nine days' notice. His opponent, Bruce Whitehead, will be making his official UFC debut at the event. The matchup was finalized late this week as the organization rounded out the card for the upcoming Salt Lake City showcase.

With limited time to prepare, the short-notice nature of this fight creates a volatile environment for both combatants. Smith will look to maintain his momentum as a prospect, while Whitehead will attempt to make a statement in his first outing under the promotion’s banner.
