Chimaev, who has faced persistent health issues recently, acknowledged that he is currently managing the necessary recovery time before targeting another run at the championship belt. While he remains focused on the long-term goal of regaining a contender status, he understands that his next outing inside the Octagon is unlikely to be an immediate title fight. In the interim, Chimaev has turned his attention toward activities with RAF, which includes a scheduled showdown against longtime rival Gilbert Burns this Saturday in Miami.
