Luke Rockhold Names Joe Pyfer as Future Title Threat, Questions Bo Nickal's Ceiling

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has identified Joe Pyfer as a more credible threat to the middleweight title than undefeated prospect Bo Nickal. Rockhold, who is scheduled to face Pyfer in a wrestling match at RAF 13 this Friday at the Watco Center, shared his assessment of the two fighters ahead of their encounter.

While Pyfer has established himself as a top-10 contender within the UFC middleweight division, Nickal is currently navigating his early career trajectory following a decorated collegiate wrestling background. Rockhold, who reached the pinnacle of the division during his own tenure with the promotion, expressed skepticism regarding Nickal’s path to a championship compared to the established presence of Pyfer.
