Marcus McGhee Gets New Opponent for UFC 332
Marcus McGhee will face UFC newcomer Anthony Romero at UFC 332 this Saturday after Bernardo Sopaj withdrew from the event on short notice.
The UFC 332 fight card in Salt Lake City has undergone a last-minute adjustment. Following the withdrawal of Bernardo Sopaj, the promotion announced that Marcus McGhee (11-2) will remain on the card and is now scheduled to face promotional newcomer Anthony Romero (7-2, 1 NC).
Romero accepted the bout on three days' notice. The short-notice transition comes as the organization looks to finalize the lineup for this Saturday’s event. McGhee, who holds an 11-2 professional record, will now adjust his preparation to meet the debuting Romero.
Bernardo Sopaj was forced to withdraw from the originally scheduled bout due to undisclosed reasons. The matchup serves as a late addition to the UFC 332 event schedule in Salt Lake City. No further updates regarding Sopaj's status have been provided at this time.
