Merab Dvalishvili Prepares for Petr Yan Trilogy Bout at UFC 333

Merab Dvalishvili is set to face Petr Yan for the third time in the co-main event of UFC 333, scheduled for October 24 in Abu Dhabi. Heading into the trilogy bout, Dvalishvili has been reflecting on his previous performances against the Russian contender.

While Dvalishvili secured a dominant victory in their first meeting in 2023, where he utilized consistent pressure and wrestling to stifle Yan, he acknowledged that he identified specific tactical errors made during their subsequent encounters. The bantamweight contender is looking to correct these mistakes as he prepares for the upcoming high-stakes matchup in Abu Dhabi.

This third clash serves as a pivotal moment for both athletes as they look to assert their dominance within the division. Dvalishvili’s ability to adjust his approach based on past experiences will be a primary focus for observers as the fight date approaches. With the trilogy finalized for the UFC 333 card, both fighters are finalizing their camps to settle their ongoing rivalry.
