Michael Page Announces Signing With Misfits Boxing Following UFC Departure
Michael 'Venom' Page has signed with Misfits Boxing following the UFC's decision not to renew his contract after his recent victory at UFC Paris.
Michael 'Venom' Page has officially moved on to a new combat sports venture after his departure from the UFC. The veteran striker, who most recently secured a decision victory over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris in September, confirmed he has signed with Misfits Boxing. In his public comments regarding the transition, Page noted that he feels liberated following his exit from the UFC. Despite holding a 5-1 promotional record and maintaining rankings in two separate divisions, the UFC opted not to re-sign Page upon the completion of his contract. His move to the Misfits Boxing platform marks a pivot away from the octagon, shifting his focus toward the influencer-led combat sports circuit. While his UFC run concluded with a win, the promotion chose not to pursue an extension, leading Page to seek opportunities outside of the organization. As of now, Misfits Boxing has not disclosed details regarding Page's debut opponent or a specific date for his first appearance under their banner. Page continues to be a prominent figure in the spectacle-focused fighting space, having built a significant following through his flashy striking style during his time in both Bellator and the UFC. Misfits Boxing, founded by KSI, has consistently looked to add high-profile combat sports athletes to their cards, and Page represents the latest addition to their active roster.
