Mike Malott Enters Welterweight Top 10 Following UFC Edmonton Win
Mike Malott has moved up to No. 8 in the UFC welterweight rankings following his knockout victory over Joaquin Buckley at UFC Edmonton.
Following his dominant performance at UFC Edmonton last weekend, welterweight standout Mike Malott has officially cracked the promotion's Top 10 rankings. Malott moved up three spots to secure the No. 8 position in the 170-pound division. This advancement comes after he delivered a highlight-reel knockout victory against Joaquin Buckley in the event's main event. The win marks the fifth consecutive victory for Malott and his second straight knockout performance. With his recent surge, Malott has solidified his status as a legitimate contender in one of the UFC's most competitive weight classes. Meanwhile, the loss resulted in Joaquin Buckley falling out of the Top 10 rankings. Malott's continued momentum makes him a fighter to watch for fantasy managers, as his finishing ability and steady climb toward the top of the division provide significant value in point-based formats.
