Paddy Pimblett Addresses Rumors Regarding Potential Ilia Topuria Bout

Paddy Pimblett has clarified his current standing regarding a potential matchup with Ilia Topuria. Recent speculation had suggested the two fighters might be slated for a December contest; however, Pimblett stated that he has not received any official offer to face the featherweight contender.

While rumors have circulated regarding a clash between the two, Pimblett’s comments indicate that no formal negotiations or bout agreements are currently in place for such a matchup. The lightweight has recently expressed interest in climbing the rankings, following his efforts to secure high-profile opponents as he continues his tenure in the division.

For fantasy managers tracking potential movement in the lightweight and featherweight tiers, this clarification serves as a reminder to avoid over-investing in speculative bookings. Pimblett remains a popular asset in fantasy formats, but until a bout agreement is officially confirmed by the promotion, any projected timeline for his return against a specific opponent like Topuria remains purely hypothetical.
