Following a quick submission win over Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 329, Paddy Pimblett expressed interest in fighting Ilia Topuria, claiming he could finish the champion quickly.
Paddy Pimblett has expressed clear interest in a future showdown with UFC champion Ilia Topuria. Coming off a dominant 52-second submission victory over Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 329, Pimblett stated that he believes he could replicate the historic knockout speed seen in Conor McGregor’s win over Jose Aldo if the two were to clash. While Pimblett is currently evaluating his options for his next outing, he remains focused on securing a major opportunity after his recent performance moved him back into the win column. The potential matchup represents a significant step up for the rising star, as he looks to capitalize on the momentum gained from his quick finish of Saint Denis. No official fight booking has been made, but Pimblett's public comments indicate his desire to test himself against the top tier of the division.
