Paul Felder Reflects on Medical Emergency During UFC Vegas 121 Headliner

UFC broadcaster Paul Felder has described the medical incident involving Raoni Barcelos during the UFC Vegas 121 main event as the most distressing moment he has witnessed during his time in the commentary booth. The event, which took place this past Saturday, featured a bantamweight clash between Barcelos and Raul Rosas Jr. that ended under concerning circumstances. Felder, who was on the call for the broadcast, noted that the situation was, by far, the scariest experience of his career in the sport. The medical scare occurred following the conclusion of the bout, prompting immediate attention from the cageside medical team. While subsequent updates have confirmed that Barcelos remained conscious following the collapse, the incident left a significant impact on those working the event. The broadcast team and officials acted quickly to secure medical assistance for the fighter after the fight was brought to a halt.
