Sedriques Dumas Gets New Opponent for UFC Vegas 121

Sedriques Dumas will remain on the UFC Vegas 121 card this Saturday, but he will face a new opponent on just two days' notice. The promotion announced on Thursday that Luis Hernandez has stepped in to face Dumas following the withdrawal of Mickey Gall.

Gall, who was scheduled to return to the octagon for the first time in nearly two years, was forced to pull out of the event due to undisclosed medical issues. With Gall sidelined, the UFC moved quickly to keep Dumas on the card, resulting in the late-notice matchup against Hernandez.

The shift in opponents arrives at a critical juncture for both fighters as they look to secure a victory on the UFC Vegas 121 platform. The event takes place at the Meta APEX. Fantasy managers should monitor the late change, as the abrupt shift in styles and preparation time can significantly impact athlete performance, potential finishes, and overall scoring output for the matchup.
