Tony Ferguson Discusses Misfits Boxing Run Following Departure from UFC

Former UFC lightweight standout Tony Ferguson has addressed his ongoing transition to the boxing ring following the conclusion of his tenure with the UFC. Ferguson, who parted ways with the promotion following an eight-fight losing streak, has found immediate success in the Misfits Boxing circuit, where he currently maintains an undefeated 3-0 record. Reflecting on his recent transition, Ferguson described his experience during his recent bout against Mahmoud Sebie as a 'dream state.' Despite the notable shift in competition level between his former UFC career and his current boxing endeavors, Ferguson has successfully notched two TKO victories within the Misfits banner. While Ferguson was previously considered among the elite lightweights during his time in the Octagon, his recent activity highlights a distinct pivot in his combat sports career as he continues to compete in the crossover boxing landscape.
