Undefeated bantamweight prospect Asaf Chopurov has signed with the UFC following a successful professional run of 11-0 and a deep amateur background.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has officially secured one of the most prominent prospects on the regional circuit, signing undefeated bantamweight Asaf Chopurov to a promotional contract. The news was confirmed by Sherdog on September 25, 2026.
Chopurov enters the Octagon with a spotless 11-0 professional record. Known for his finishing ability, he brings significant momentum to the organization's talent-rich 135-pound division. His professional success follows a remarkably decorated amateur career, where he compiled an impressive 34-1 record.
Considered a highly sought-after talent in the MMA landscape, Chopurov's arrival is expected to bolster the bantamweight rankings. While a debut date and opponent for the newcomer have yet to be announced, his background suggests he will be a fighter to watch for those interested in prospect development within the UFC hierarchy. Given his high finish rate and extensive amateur experience, fantasy players should keep a close eye on his debut for potential value in points-based leagues where finishing ability is heavily rewarded.
