Zuffa Boxing Adds WBC Middleweight Champion Carlos Adames

Zuffa Boxing has continued its expansion into the professional boxing landscape by securing the services of WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames. The signing was confirmed via social media, marking another high-profile acquisition for the organization under the leadership of Dana White.

Adames, who currently holds a professional boxing record of 25-1-1, enters the Zuffa roster with a proven track record of title success. The middleweight champion has successfully defended his belt four times throughout his career. In a social media post accompanying the announcement, Adames signaled his intent for future bouts, stating, 'No more running, no more excuses!'

The move marks a continued push by the parent company to establish a significant footprint in combat sports beyond mixed martial arts. While Zuffa has primarily focused on UFC operations for decades, the organization's recent foray into boxing has seen the recruitment of several established champions and high-ranking contenders. Details regarding Adames' promotional debut or potential future opponents under the Zuffa Boxing banner have yet to be disclosed by the promotion.
